When you call, you will speak directly with an attorney or staff member who will ask for some general information about your claim, including:

- Who was at fault
- The date of the accident
- The location of the accident
- The persons involved
- Whether the police investigated the accident
- A copy of the police report
- The nature of your resulting injuries
- The medical treatment you received due to the accident
- Your past medical history
- Any periods of time you were disabled from work
- The insurance policy information for you, the driver, and the owner of all vehicles
- Your conversations to date with any insurance adjusters
Your information will be delivered to one of the experienced personal injury attorneys at Freking & Betz, and an appointment for a free consultation will be promptly scheduled within 24 to 48 hours.
Please bring the following documents, if you have them, with you to your initial consultation:
- A copy of the police accident report
- Any photographs taken of the accident scene or your visible injuries
- Any photographs taken of the damaged vehicle or defective product
- The actual defective product or device if in your possession
- Any medical bills received to date
- Any medical records or reports received to date
- A paycheck stub
- Your applicable automobile or homeowner's insurance policy with the coverages page
- Your health insurance card
During this consultation, you will meet with an attorney. Randolph Freking, Mark Napier or Charles McGinnis will listen to you describe the facts and circumstances of the accident, answer any questions you may have, and explain how your type of legal claim is typically handled. You will be given an opinion as to whether your claim is one that should be pursued.
This initial consultation is free of charge, and you are not committed until you are ready for Freking & Betz to represent you and protect your rights. Once you feel that Freking & Betz is the right firm to handle your case, you will be presented with an attorney fee agreement naming Freking & Betz as your legal representatives.
Once the fee agreement is signed, you will not have to talk to the insurance claims adjuster, the opposing parties, witnesses, experts, or do any other legal tasks concerning your case. The firm will take care of these tasks for you, so all you will need to do is concentrate on getting better. The legal issues will become the problem/responsibility of your Ohio personal injury lawyer and the legal team at Freking & Betz.
